In praise of tea.

It’s time for tea. Always.

Tea does not depress me. Tea does not make me anxious. Tea does not make my mind race, or cause me to utter harsh words that I will regret the next day.

There is no such thing as a “tea bitch”.

Tea doesn’t come in bottles, and I don’t worry about the clinking sound it makes when I’m taking out the recycling.

I’ve never once woken up with a hangover from tea.

You can’t dunk biscuits in wine.

Tea is the answer to everything. (I know this, because I am English.)

Tea, I praise you.

Hallelujah.

Put the kettle on.
